Reliance Contribution Company Limited is one of the oldest Insurance
company in Pakistan having been in operation since 1981. The company is backed by two leading
Industrial Houses of Pakistan, namely Al-Noor Group and Amin Bawany Group having presence across
several sectors including sugerAl-Noor Group and Amin Bawany Group. Al-Noor Group was led by the late
Mr. Ismail H. Zakaria, while Amin Bawany Group was founded by late Mr. Mohammed Amin Ahmed Bawany.
Both groups are renowned for their successful execution of a multitude of industrial and commercial projects.
Mr. Ismail H. Zakaria was appointed as the founding Chairman of RICL in 1982. He occupied this position for 38 years exhibiting exemplary leadership, drawing on his extensive experience. Following Mr. Zakaria’s passing away on May 26, 2020, the Board of Directors unanimously appointed Mr. Irfan Zakaria Bawany as Chairman, ensuring the continuity of dynamic, visionary leadership and robust governance.
The Company commenced its Window Takaful Operations in June 2016 which has been widely appreciated by the business fraternity, Islamic banks and financial institutions. Its operations are being managed by a team of well
experienced, dedicated & competent professionals.
“Reliance Takaful” is operating under the guidance of renowned, qualified and certified Sharia Scholars. Our Takaful model is WAQF based; the concept of brotherhood and mutual solidarity in Islam.
